The regulations have been filed and are now the new Visa Laws

Our Angel Sara was out in Azogues today and received the news the Regulations were filed yesterday 10 March 2022 so they are indeed now the law. Retirement and Rentista incomes are now $1275.00 and $250.00 per Dependent. Professional requires no minimal income unless you have dependents then income is $425.00 per month with another $250.00 per dependent. Investment has the same requirement as Professional. If you are solo no income requirement, if with dependents $425.00 plus $250.00 per dependent.

The digital nomad visa can now begin to be applied for under the Rentista income requirements and all people on a temporary visa can leave Ecuador for up to 90 days over the 2 year period, not during each year.
