Urgent information for anyone getting ready to apply for the Permanent Visas

Clients who are getting ready to apply for a permanent visa need to reach out to us 5 months prior to the visa expiration. If you are a retiree, the online platform is requiring a brand new current year Social security letter or other Retirement letter which must be apostilled and then translated and notarized here in Ecuador.

They process the applications at 60 days from application and they are only giving people 10 days to obtain this document. Otherwise they are denying the permanent visas. Please be pro-active and reach out to us as soon as possible.

WE have tried to do the Ecuadorian process of Materalization but they do not want to accept it. We are hoping to be able to file complaints with Quito by the end of the month but for those in process, try to obtain the new Retiree letter immediately. We are only findings these new requirements after the file has been there for over 50 days. We have no idea what else might be required as we go forward.
